La Siesta golf is a small but beautiful course with wonderful views from the 1st and 9th holes,
very pleasant course for fitting in a quick game.
Although it is a private club visitors are always welcome and regular competitions are held. The staff are always friendly
and although for a nine hole course the current rate of 30 Euros ( 2007/2008) is a little on the high side I would highly recommend this course
for a less frantic and laid back game of golf.
The distances between holes varies considerably ( between 51 and 175 meters ) as it winds around the picturesque Sitio de Calahonda residential
area. It is a great little course to sharpen up your short game and your approach play will no doubt benefit from a few rounds
on this course.
No buggy is required with 9 holes taking around 1 to 1 and a half hours to complete . There is also a nice bar-restaurant in the club house
with lovely views over the course and mediterranean sea and the abundance of well established pine trees which pleasantly litter the area.
