The Atalaya Golf and Country Club is characterised by two 18 hole courses known as the Old Course and the New Course.
The old course offers a parkland course with wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Suitable for all players, this course is flat. The new course in contrast although starting between the flat and wide fairways of the old course, becomes difficult up towards the hills.
For the golfing enthusiast, Atalaya International Golf Academy offers one of the best and detailed practice courses in Spain with classes being taught in various languages. Includes 3 day and 5 day courses. Morever, the practice putting ground and lessons are provided for free to the hotel guests.
The Atalaya Golf and Country Club is also the general headquarters of the Professionals Golfers Association of Europe PGAE.
The course is also popular because of the Atalaya Park hotel in the same complex offering a wide range of hospitality services
